Baby Lucy

After years of losing fight after fight with me (boxing, wrestling, basketball, what-have-you), my brother Bobby has finally gotten me to say uncle. I'm an Uncle! Bobby's wife Carolyn also had a lot to do with that of course, so I kind of feel like it was 2 on 1, or even 3 on 1, a totally uneven match.

We are delighted to welcome little Lucy Munro Corrie-Tannen into the world, born in California on Nov. 30 at around 2 PM, 6 lbs. 12 oz. A beautiful, healthy girl! You'll probably read about this in the news or hear about it on the radio of course, as clearly this is the cutest baby ever born anywhere in the whole world.

Remember they found that 3 million year old girl in Africa, and named her Lucy? That Lucy was called "the missing link" for awhile, and they called her the most important modern discovery in paleontology, gave us a glimpse into what it means to be human, etc. etc..etc.? Well, this new Lucy is even better.

The family is back home now and everyone is resting comfortably. Well, everyone except the parents of course, who aren't getting any sleep at all. Oh, and the baby too, she wakes up every two hours or so. I guess the grandparents have been running around like crazy too, so they haven't gotten much rest either...and as for the rest of us...
